SCREAMIN’ FROM THE CHEAP SEATS. Vociferously yelling at the SEC and the Big Ten if this happens to be true. Rumors have circulated that both Power 4 Conferences are demanding four guaranteed slots each in all future College Football Playoffs.

That is ludicrous especially if you’re the SEC. For making the claim that you’re the top conference by far isn’t backed up with the one piece of factual evidence necessary and that’s winning the CFP last year.

The fact that didn’t come to fruition as well as not even getting a team in the championship game screams loud and clear that the SEC has an overvalued opinion of itself. At least the Big Ten captured the title to give more credence to their request but not enough to warrant four guaranteed selections in future CFP.

Advice to the SEC and Big Ten. The way into the CFP should always be by rewarding winning. A team with 3 or more conference losses doesn’t deserve to go to The Dance no matter how tough you perceive your conference to be.

Just win. That’s all.
