SCREAMIN’ FROM THE CHEAP SEATS. The sign of being a good journalist is knowing when to back off when someone is doing it better. That’s the case today as one of my college football teammates and a friend for over 50 years is screaming louder and better than I ever could.

Below is from Tommy Sharpe who played outside linebacker at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Here’s his commentary on what transpired as it applied to the television coverage after Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders was finally chosen by the Cleveland Browns in the 5th round with the 144th pick in the draft and I quote, “Total injustice by TV coverage to the 5 kids drafted after Sanders.  Who cares about the commentators opinion of where Sanders’s should have been drafted. It’s a discussion for after the draft, not while these other kids are being drafted. Pisses me off!”

Spot on Shapper. Could not have said it any better and I’m not going to even try so I’m dropping the mic.
