RECORDS THAT WILL NEVER BE BROKE. You're going to see a bunch of records that Wilt Chamberlain has in the next month or two that should convinced you that he is the NBA Goat. Hopefully, you'll look at this and come over to the dark side from MJ or LeBron to the join me, and I'm old enough to have personally seen The Big Dipper play, in crowning Wilt the Stilt as the best player to ever compete in the National Basketball Association.

Record #1 that will never be broken is Minutes Played in a Season. Chamberlain holds that record with 3,882 minutes played in 1961-62 while playing for the Philadelphia Warriors. That averaged out to 48.5 minutes per game.

Now, before you say that's impossible because there's only 48 minutes in an NBA game. You are correct with questioning that statement but it is true. What that means is that #13 played every minute, including overtime, of all 80 games during that campaign. To add to that, the Philadelphia native has the top 5 games ever when it comes to minutes played in a season and 7 of the top 10.

The closest anyone has come to breaking this amazing achievement was in 1971-72 when the Celtics John Havlicek logged 3,698 minutes for #6 all time. That was still 184 minutes shy of catching the former Kansas Jayhawk great.

If you think this one makes you go WOW, wait until you hear about the other 5 or so that are coming. Wilt holds a plethora of records that will astonish you.

I believe that the NBA refuses to push the accomplishments of Wilt Chamberlain to the forefront because it makes the perceived GOATS look like weak baby lambs. After I post them all, I'll let you be the judge.

Book it Dano!
