BREAKING NEWS. Now that the National Football League has progressed from the voluntary OTA phase to the mandatory 3-day minicamp it’s time to take stock on what players are not in camp. That’s because there are different ramifications for being a no-show.

Here’s the major difference between an OTA and the Minicamp. OTA is voluntary and Minicamp is mandatory, and a player can now be fined for not attending. Miss one day and it will cost $17,462. A two-day absence is $34,925. Missing all three days is $52,381. Here’s the list of no shows.

DE Trey Hendrickson of the Cincinnati Bengals. He is seeking a long-term deal with guaranteed money while the team is pushing a short-term agreement. Has vehemently stated he has no intention of playing the final year of his current contract. #91 has been given permission to seek trade offers.

DE Shemar Stewart also of the Bengals. This is a little bit of a different situation because the first-round selection of Cincinnati isn’t under contract.

CB Jaire Alexander of the Green Bay Packers. Been told he’s being released so no need to attend.

CB Jalen Ramsey of the Miami Dolphins. Has been excused from mini camp as The Fish look to facilitate a trade.

TE Jonnu Smith also of the Dolphins. Signed a two-year agreement for $8.4 million last offseason and is skipping minicamp. #9 wants its renegotiated.

LB T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Skipping minicamp as #90 is looking for an extension on the final year of his contract.

WR Terry McLaurin of the Washington Commanders. #17 also in the last year of his contract and coming off his most productive season wants an extension.

Book it Dano!
