SCREAMIN’ FROM THE CHEAP SEATS. Who am I getting loud on today. None other than the WNBA players themselves and here’s why.

When the fan vote was revealed for the All Star contest that will take place on July 19th G Caitlin Clark was the overwhelming choice. #22 garnered just south of 1.3 million votes which set a record for most selections in league history.

Now here’s where there’s a discrepancy. When the players voted on who would represent the league at the All Star game a week from Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse it revealed that the Indians Fever star was rated the 9th best guard in the WNBA.

That in itself screams what wrong with the WNBA. The fact that a million plus fans took the time to vote for the University of Iowa alumni has got to tell you that’s she’s one of the premier players in the league. The fact that her peers view her as the 9th best guard just tells you how blinded the players are to what’s happening.

Clark has transformed the WNBA into something people will watch on TV if she’s playing or spend money to see her in person. The simple fact that the players cannot see and accept that just tells me you have a bunch of women that cannot accept this reality.

As William Congreve stated back in 1697 so succinctly hell has no fury like a woman scorned. Obviously there’s a bunch women athletes in the WNBA that are experiencing that feeling.

Why else would they truly believe that the person who is carrying the league literally on her back is the 9th best guard in the WNBA. That vote reeks of jealously for a truly generational talent.

These hateful players need to wake up and see this for what it is. She’s hands down the best player in the league and they need to embrace that.

There’s nothing wrong with having to admit someone is better than you. What is wrong is refusing to admit it right Buddy?

Are these woman EVER going to accept her? Sadly right now it looks like that's a hard no.

BOOK IT DANO!
