BREAKING NEWS. To those of you who were under the impression that the Indiana Fever is a one trick pony better rethink that narrative. Especially after the recent contest with the Western Conference leading Minnesota Lynx.

Playing without star G Caitlin Clark whose recovering from a groin injury all the Fever did was have five players score in double digits . F Natasha Howard who contributed 16 points led the scoring parade as visiting Indiana dismantled the Lynx 74-59 on their home floor to capture the WNBA Commissioners Cup.

The Fever proved they cannot only win without #22 but can do it convincingly on both ends of the floor. Indiana took control of the game in the second quarter holding the Lynx scoreless for over 8 minutes during an 18-0 run. This is against the team with the best record in the WNBA.

Yes Clark is a huge price to the Fever puzzle to get to the WNBA title. Indiana proved with this triumph that there’s more to this franchise than the Iowa star dropping dimes behind the arc. A lot more Buddy.

BOOK IT DANO!
