HERE’S WHAT I THINK. Time to break out my crystal ball when it comes to the winner of the first 12 team NCAA College Football Playoff and I’m seeing Ohio State as the last one standing. With former UCLA head coach Chip Kelly now running the offense in Columbus the tempo will be uber fast and points will be scored in bunches when they have the pigskin. Kansas State transfer Will Howard has emerged as the starting signal caller with Alabama transfer Julian Sayin and highly touted freshman Air Noland giving OSU the deepest QB room in college football. Add to that a defense that has playmakers all over the field. Finally the Scarlet & Grey will be battle tested having to travel to Oregon and Penn State along with hosting Michigan at The Horseshoe. A rematch with one from that trio at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the Big Ten title is likely before being selected as one of the dozen teams to compete in the inaugural 12 team CFP field where in my humble opinion Ohio State will hoist the trophy at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on January 20. Who do the Buckeyes defeat? Going out on a limb here and picking Miami  If transfer QB Cam Ward can stay healthy he’s the missing piece to arguably the deepest roster top to bottom in college football. Book it Dano!
