WHAT'S BROKE & NEEDS FIXING. This is an easy one and a lot of media members are afraid to even broach this subject. The Women’s National Basketball Association is in chaos and needs a major overhaul. Here are three huge issues that has put the WNBA on the precipice of possibly going out of business and needs to be addressed immediately.

The first is that the league refuses to accept the fact that the only reason attendance at games has exploded is Caitlin Clark. In venues where the Indiana Fever star is competing fan average attendance is skyrocketing from 7,645 to over doubling to 15,591. If you do the math that’s an increase of 105%.

The second is that a vast majority of players are clinging to the misguided belief that people are turning on WNBA games to watch them. If you walk into a sports bar the only time a WNBA tilt is on is if #22 is playing and it’s on multiple big screen TV sets throughout the establishment.

Finally the third and final mistake the WNBA players are making is demanding a larger share of the league’s revenue going to them. The ONLY reason revenue is up is because of Clark. A high tide raises all boats and she is a financial tsunami.

The WNBA needs to wake up their players and have them realize they’re killing the golden goose. If the University of Iowa great decides to take her act elsewhere the WNBA goes back to being irrelevant and even worse go out of business.

BOOK IT DANO!
