THOUGHTS FROM A SEPTUAGENARIAN. Want to talk about something that hasn’t changed since 1953 when Leo & Nancy made me a first round draft pick. That’s the Grand Slam of Golf.

For the last 72 years of my existence the 4 major golf tournaments have remained constant. What constitutes the Grand Slam of Golf are The Masters and the U.S. Open along with The Open culminating with the PGA Championship.

There has been talk of possibly adding a 5th major but it has never progressed into any serious discussions. It looks like the practice of four Majors in golf will remain at least in my lifetime.

Personally I’m thankful that this tradition has not changed. A lot of time change is for the better but not this time.

Enjoy the final round of an extremely exciting and challenging U.S. Open. And an added bonus it’s on Father’s Day and a happy one to all the fathers.

BOOK IT DANO!
