SCREAMIN’ FROM THE CHEAT SEATS

SCREAMIN’ FROM THE CHEAT SEATS. Screaming at Tampa Bay RW Nikita Kucherov but not in a bad way. Definitely a good way.  #86 is on top of the NHL with 139 points. 43 goals tied for 8th. 96 assists puts him alone in 2nd. 3 behind Edmonton C Connor McDavid. Both can hit 100 or more assists this year. That's amazing but the fact that Kucherov is up there is mindboggling  because this has never been done by a winger. If you're a center you can pass either right or left because you are for the most part in the middle of the ice. When you're a winger your options to pass are cut by 50% because you're already on one side of the rink. The closest non-center in assists is D Quinn Hughes from Vancouver with 74 and LW Artemi Panarin from the New York Rangers with 70. The fact that the native of Russia still manages to put the puck on the tape of teammates so they can deposit the biscuit in the basket when the entire opposition knows it's coming borders on phenomenal. He's the Magic Johnson of hockey especially on the power play. If the 30 year old Alternate Captain of the Lightning get to or surpasses 100 assists it will put him in record book and with 4 games left before the playoffs there a good chance that can happen. Good luck. Book it Dano!
